Installing a Bigfoot RV leveling system on your RV can be a bit complicated. Normally, the pump and cylinders of these hydraulic systems are attached to your rig using “Weld-On” brackets that, as you may have guessed, weld to the chassis. But, not everyone has the equipment or knowledge needed to properly weld these brackets to their chassis, or they simply may not wish to go that route. The Bolt-On Brackets allow Bigfoot leveling systems to be mounted to Ford E-350 and E-450 chassis using nuts and bolts rather than welding them on with their weld-on brackets. These hefty brackets are constructed using heavy-duty steel. This material gives the brackets the weight and strength required to reliably hold up your Bigfoot leveler pump and cylinders while offering lasting durability. Keep in mind that this is raw steel, so you will need to apply a coat of paint or protectant to prevent rusting. These brackets are designed for use with the Bigfoot Central Pump Automatic Leveling System (RP-BF-E4501), though they may be used with a variety of other Bigfoot systems. These brackets are compatible with 2008 and up Ford E-350 and Ford E-450 chassis cab motorhomes classes A, B, and C. Older pre-2008 chassis may require additional drilling for these brackets to work properly. Also, be sure to check the rear frame of your chassis for two-stage air suspension, as having such a system may also require additional drilling or different mounting brackets.
