Traveling to the RV Hall of Fame in Elkhart, IN
If you are traveling to Elkhart, IN to see the RV Hall of Fame, getting off the toll road at exit 96, here's what you will see getting to the correct entrance.

Navigating to the front Entrance
When you get off the toll road and turn left onto the frontage road, you’ll pass Casey’s on the right. Stay on that frontage road longer than feels natural. You’ll see a left turn and you might be tempted to turn there, but continue forward. That’s where I turned, and it leads you straight into Thor and Lippert territory.
If you see the Thor building on your right and you end up at a roundabout directly in front of Lippert, that’s your sign that you turned too early. Just take the roundabout, head back to the frontage road, and keep going until the next available left.

What You’ll See When You’re in the Right Place
When you make the correct left turn, you’ll pull into a huge parking lot with a retention pond out front. The first thing you’ll see is the Northern Indiana Event Center. There’s a green directional sign with two arrows pointing left, and you’ll follow those around the building.

The entrance to the RV Hall of Fame is not on the front-facing side, it's around the back. As you drive around the building, you’ll see parking spaces sized for RVs and trailers. The visitor center has large glass windows across the entire front, and this is where the RV and Motorhome Museum signage is located. If you spot the elk painted like an American flag, you’re at the right door.

Inside the Visitor Center
When you walk in, the front desk is straight ahead. There's an attendant who can get you set up for your tour and answer questions.

Bathrooms are immediately to the left and right of the front desk. If you’ve been traveling, they’re easy to access before you start walking through the exhibits. Even if you haven’t just traveled far, you might want to stop there first because the museum is pretty big and you'll be walking around for a while!

Where the Tour Begins
Past the desk and bathrooms, there’s a wide entry hallway with history information. On the right is the entrance to RV Founders Hall, which is where I like to start. One of the first RVs you’ll see in that section is an Airstream, which is always a big part of RV history.
