Description
Sit Back and Relax with a Power, Slim, and Quiet RecPro Air Conditioner
Traveling doesn’t have to mean giving up the little luxuries you enjoy in your home. Just because you’re in an RV doesn’t mean you can’t have the same amenities. With a RecPro AC, you can relax in a cool environment with ease.
Superior Craftsmenship
With our RV AC’s you don’t need to worry about them not holding up to weather and UV rays. The shroud of this is made for prolonged outdoor exposure while it retains its color and durability. This is made with thick, molded plastic that is stronger than other AC units on the market. And the quality doesn’t stop there, the components that make the AC function are just as high quality. They are made to keep your inside nice and homey no matter what. Note that it is still delicate circuitry, the AC may have decreased functionality at outdoor temperatures above 122°F. Parking in the shade or shading the AC unit can help mitigate this, but is not guaranteed.
Smooth and Easy Operation
This unit features two ways to control the set temperature, mode, and fan. The first control panel is LED touch controls on the plenum. You can easily set your AC from the AC unit itself and don’t have to worry about buttons breaking or a hard to read screen. The second way to control your AC is with the included remote. This remote allows you full access to changing the settings on your AC unit, all from the comfort of your seat. No more getting up to adjust the fan or temperature. Just grab the remote, press a button, and you’re done. Note: This unit is not compatible with existing thermostats. It is only designed for use with the included plenum and remote. You will not be able to wire it to a different thermostat.
A Mode for Every Occasion
This unit comes with 5 selectable modes and 4 fan settings, allowing for a multitude of combinations to get the perfect relaxing conditions. The modes included are Cool, Fan, Dry, Heat, and Auto. This AC has both heating and cooling capabilities, though note that it is not designed to be the sole source of heating. The heat pump is made more for a secondary heat source, such as taking a slight chill out of the air on a cool, fall morning. Dry mode runs the fan at higher speeds, drawing moisture from the air. It has some cooling power, but is more designed for mid-range temperatures that are a little humid. Fan mode runs just the fan with no cooling. Auto will run whatever mode is best to achieve the set temperature.
Reliable Temperature Monitoring
Our 15k RV air conditioner has a temperature monitoring system that senses the temperature of the surrounding air and adjusts to accommodate whatever temperature you've set it to, keeping you comfortable even through the night.
Energy Efficient Amp Draw
This AC unit has a lower running amp draw, meaning it is more flexible that other units on the market. It is able to be used with low amp setups and on generators. With a max amp draw of 16 amps, this unit is made to be as energy efficient as possible. It beats the competitors in amp load. And because this is our low profile unit, it's energy efficient and slim. If you have height considerations for your RV, this unit is just the thing you need. Get all the benefits of our standard 15K unit, with less height needed.
The Quietest AC on the Market
RecPro is home of the Quiet AC™. We’ve made our AC quieter than our competitors’ ACs. With an under 60 db reading for the high speed setting and just 55 db for the low setting, this fan will keep you cool without having to crank the volume on the TV just to hear it. It makes for easy sleeping at night with this advanced technology. Never be awoken from sleep by the AC kicking on again.

Everything You Need, All in One Box
This AC unit comes with several options for customization. The outer shroud can be ordered in either black or white. Note, that while the outer shroud has options, the inner plenum is white for both versions. This AC can also be ordered to fit ducted or non-ducted RVs. So if you have RV ducting or are wanting to add it but unsure if this AC will still work for you, rest assured, this easily fits into any ducting system. Want it to just blow directly into the room? The non-ducted version is what you want. The non-ducted unit will blow air from the unit directly through the plenum and into the room. It’s perfect for zoned cooling, such as cooling a living room or bedroom. These units work on trailers too, so you can have a nice little cool spot to relax while out working and using your trailer. This unit comes with everything you need to install, including the gasket.
If you’re wondering if you need a ducted version or a non-ducted version, there are a few ways to find out. First you can refer to your vehicle’s manual. Next you can check with the vehicle manufacturer. You can also inspect your RV for ducting yourself. Common areas to check would be to look for ceiling or floor vents that connect to ductwork, remove your current AC unit and see if there is ducting connected to the space, or if you don’t currently have an AC, to check the mounting hole for the presence of ducting.
Determining If You Need Ducted Or Non-Ducted
- Refer to the manual of your vehicle.
- Speak with the manufacturer of your vehicle.
- Inspect any air vents in your vehicle for ducting. If ducting is present, you will need a ducted air conditioner. If ducting is not present, you will need a non-ducted unit.
- Inspect your current air conditioner unit by removing the plenum and looking for air duct connections. If air duct connections are found, you will need a ducted air conditioner. If duct connections are not present, you will need a non-ducted air conditioner.
- If no AC unit is currently installed, inspect the sides of the AC mounting hole in the roof of your vehicle for duct openings. If duct openings are present, you will need a ducted air conditioner. If duct openings are not present, you will need a non-ducted air conditioner.
