On the road and out in the wild, meal preparation is an important aspect of the camping and recreational vehicle lifestyle. If you can't prepare food when you're in your home away from home, your trips will be hindered greatly. You need to be able to make food when you want, where you want, and how you want. Yes, you could stop somewhere and build a fire if you're out in the wilderness, but that takes time and you're outside where there are bears. Why take that risk? There's also the complication that when you are out RVing across the country, you can't always find a place to build a fire. What do you do?
