Description
When it comes to traveling on the open road, you can never be safe enough. This is a fact, no matter what kind of vehicle you are driving. Still, it is especially true for those driving or operating larger vehicles such as RVs and trailers. You can enhance your safety on the road in a vast number of ways, with one of the easiest methods being the monitoring of your tire pressure and temperature. When you are driving a heavy vehicle or operating heavy equipment, such as RVs or trailers, monitoring the condition of your tires is one of the most important things you can do. A sudden flat tire or low tire pressure can easily lead to a significant accident that could cost thousands to fix! Stay safer on the road with a TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System from RecPro!
A Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS for short) is what it sounds like; a system designed to monitor the pressure and temperature of your tires and help you detect issues such as low tire pressure and leaks. Most modern vehicles on the road are equipped with a TPMS, so it is very likely that you have seen one before. Larger vehicles and towables such as RVs, trailers, farming equipment, and more do not always come equipped with a TPMS, leaving it to you to install your own. If you want to get a Tire Pressure Monitoring System you will love set up on your rig, you have come to the right place.
TPMS Monitor
This TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System gives you a choice of display that offers a 4 ½" screen in color or grayscale. With the purchase of additional tire sensors (additional sensors are NOT included with the original 2), the display gives you the ability to keep an eye on up to four different trailers or 115 tire positions! Unlike many competing TPMS kits, the display of our Tire Pressure Monitoring System is totally wireless apart from the USB charging cable. This means you will not need to tear up your rig or worry about complicated wiring. Just plug in, charge, and use!
The monitor of this TPMS is designed with a lithium battery that can be powered and recharged with the micro USB cable and 12vDC vehicle power adapter included in this kit. The display offers you bright and clear visuals so that you can effortlessly read information about your tires. The TPMS monitor will automatically dim its lighting when conditions are dark, so you do not end up blinded. °° or ° C are the available temperature displays, while the tire pressure may be displayed as PSI or BAR. Our TPMS kit comes with a suction cup mount and a rubber cradle mount, giving you two ways to attach the display to your rig.
The display of this Tire Pressure Monitoring System does more than tell you the pressure and temperature of your tires. It also serves as an alarm if a problem arises with your pressure or temperature. The display uses visual, audio, and text warnings to let you know when your tires have reached the threshold for pressure or temperature. You can customize these alarms to thresholds that suit you and even configure them by axle using simple push-button programming.
Captivating Cap Sensors
This TST Tire Pressure Monitoring System is designed for convenience, offering an installation process that is nearly effortless and only takes a few minutes of your time. Our TPMS offers you two incredible cap sensors, and these two small devices sure have a lot to be impressed with. These sensors are incredibly straightforward to install. They attach to your tire valve stem similarly to an average valve stem cap, meaning you will not need to rip apart your tire to install these sensors, unlike many competing TPMS sensors.
Inside each of these sensors is a 3v CR2032 battery that can provide the sensor with power for up to a year and is easy to replace. It is also worth mentioning that the cap sensors will not lose code lock after replacing their batteries. These cap sensors are built to be water and weather-resistant so that they may withstand the harshness of life on the road. Thanks to these cap sensors, you can quickly detect if there is an issue with the tires on your rigs, such as air leakage, low tire pressure, or high tire temperatures. The sensors will gather data on tire pressure and temperature every twelve seconds for accurate, real-time information you can trust. That data is then sent to the TPMS display every five minutes. The cap sensors in this TPMS offer a Pressure Range of 1 to 218 PSI and a Temperature Range of -40°°(-40° C) to 176°°(80° C).
Our TST TPMS kit includes two anti-theft hex nuts used to secure your cap sensors to your tires and prevent them from being stolen. To use the anti-theft hex nuts, first, attach them to the valve stem. Then attach the cap sensor. Then, tighten the hex nut to the cap sensor using one of the two included cap wrenches.
Included Repeater
Our Tire Pressure Monitoring Kit includes a handy signal repeater, which is particularly useful for setting this system up on a large rig or when towing multiple trailers. The signal repeater helps to amplify the signals produced by your sensors to the system's display. It is simple to install and does not require any effort to use.
The repeater connects to your rig using two wires, one black wire and one red wire. The red wire is equipped with a 2amp fuse. The signal repeater needs to be connected to a 12v power supply that will remain constant as you drive. The signal repeater is built to be tough and weather-resistant. It may be installed inside your rig or outside your rig. The repeater can be installed on your rig using the included screws, the hook and loop fastener patch, or by using strong adhesive (adhesive not included).

Easy To Install
Our TPM kit has all the hardware you need to get it installed and running. This kit includes hardware for installation, such as screws, hex nuts, cap wrenches, and fasteners. The manual included with this TPMS kit is well-detailed and contains all the instructions you need for installation and use. This TST tire pressure monitoring system comes with a TST brand sticker and a 3-year warranty registration card.
Before you physically install the TPMS system in your rig, you should begin by pairing the sensors and setting the parameters of your alarms. Use the display to set the units for temperature and pressure and to set the limits for the high temperature, low pressure, and high-pressure alarms. Once you have these parameters set up you can pair and program each cap sensor with the TPMS display, and you will be ready to install the TPMS system.
The TPMS display is easy to install and provides you with two easy ways to attach it to your rig - the suction cup mount and the rubber cradle mount. The rubber cradle mount does not require any special instruction, however, the suction cup mount requires a few easy steps. Start by using the tabs on the back of the TPMS display to attach the device to the suction cup mount. Once the display is connected to the mount securely, you can attach the suction cup base to a nonporous flat surface, such as the windshield or side window. Plug the USB cable and the 12v adapter into the display and allow the device's battery to charge for up to four hours. Do not keep the display plugged into the charger while it is at full battery.
The cap sensors of this TPMS kit are just as easy and effortless to install. Start out by putting an anti-theft hex nut onto the valve stem, then screw on the appropriate tire sensor until it bottoms out. Give the cap sensor an additional quarter turn once it has bottomed out, then use your fingers to tighten the hex nut up to the sensor. Finish by using the included wrench to fully tighten the hex nut to the cap sensor.
