Measuring
To measure your RV baggage door, start by removing the old door and measuring the rough opening of the space.
When taking measurements, focus on the rough opening's width and height only, not the outer lip of the frame, as the new door will be built to fit those specific dimensions. It's important to note that due to the manufacturing process, the baggage door cutout size will be smaller than the listed size—the height will be 1/4" smaller, and the width will be 1/2" smaller to ensure it fits within your rough opening. Keep in mind that the actual pass-through opening will be roughly 2 inches smaller than the rough opening's width and height.
