Including brake wire, trailer wire, and a cord junction box in the product line, you have a great start to get your trailer back on the road again. Essential to safe braking function, the brake wire comes in both 14/2 and 12/2. With the insulated, heavy-duty outer jacket, they are meant to be able to weather the storms that your trailer goes through. The trailer wire is also essential, used to keep the electrical system up and connected. With the color-coded casings, it’s easier to know which wire goes where. Finally, the cord junction box is a universal fit for any 7-way trailer cord and is durable, able to withstand water and weather with ease. A great start to fix or create your trailer’s electrical system, the products from LONG HAUL are built tough.
Lighting
Trailer lighting is of great importance when you’re camping. Providing safety, navigation help, and light in the dark, your trailer lights cannot be overlooked. The lights provided by LONG HAUL are all LEDs, which means they come with the great benefits of these lights. First, they have a long life. You won’t need to replace them after only a few uses but rather can keep going on your road trips without needing to stop to replace them. Second, they are bright. When you’re on the road, you want to be able to see your lights and you want other people to be able to see them as well. The LED lights are bright and powerful, guiding your way and keeping you and others safe on the road. Finally, LED lights are efficient. Using less energy to create this bright light, LEDs use less power, which means using less money. Energy-efficient and cost-efficient, LED lights are surely the way to go.
The lights from LONG HAUL are also durable, with the tough casings welded to the housing box, creating a watertight seal that helps your light last longer and keep shining bright. Within the product range of lights, there are four main types. First is the utility lights. Utility lights are used to be able to see around your trailer and campsite at night and can be used inside or outside your RV. These lights are terrific for providing light while you’re parked and can also be used simply for decoration. The second type of light is the clearance lights. Clearance lights are used to let other drivers know the boundaries of your vehicle. If you’re driving at night, it’s important that all of your lights work. The clearance lights help other drivers know whether it’s safe to merge or take a turn and whether they’re driving too close to you. Without these lights, you might have some close calls or even an accident. Required by law, these lights are important for road safety. The third is the navigation lights. Navigation lights are used to let other drivers know when you’re turning. Also required by law, these lights help other drivers make smart decisions on whether to merge, speed up or down, or take turns, avoiding accidents and mishaps. Finally, the fourth type of light is the marker lights. Marker lights are used as auxiliary safety lights when your headlights are turned on and are required by law. When your headlights turn on, the marker lights also turn on, helping other drivers know where the back of your vehicle is in the dark. All three of the driving lights are very important for road safety, keeping you and others safe on the road.
Whether you’re a professional or a DIY mechanic, LONG HAUL has the tools and materials needed to get that start on your trailer electrical project.
