Captain. That's what you are when you're at the helm of your rig, journeying across the land with your home away from home. You're the captain of your ship. You're sailing the terra firma seas of the 48 states with your wit, will, and GPS as your only guides. As you deftly navigate your rig across the contiguous lower 48, you'll be grabbing a lot of "seat time" as you do. That means you'll need your chair, the "Captain's Chair," to be the sturdiest, most ergonomic, and comfortable sitting surface in your RV. RecPro knows how important the construction of this most-important-seat-in-the-house must be, so we have added a line of captain's chairs that are constructed of some of the best materials available on the market.

The internal framework is made from high-grade metals that are processed to be free of most impurities that are common in lesser-grade materials. his chair is highly-functional in not just looks and feel, but also the multiple comfort settings available. The arms can be lifted and lowered when entering or exiting the chair, though their height is non-adjustable. The arms also have an additional comfort function. When you recline your captain's chair, the arms will stay in a static, leveled position that you placed them in. This means that you (when you've found a safe stopping point) can recline your chair and relax.

This chair comes as a singular unit. It has an optional black base that attaches to the base of the chair with 1/2" bolts. This base is constructed of a solid metal cylinder and two stamped heavy brackets. The reclining mechanism is accompanied by a front-to-rear gliding seat adjustment lever. It also has a secondary lever that will allow the chair to swivel. Both the sliding lever and rotational lever are made of solid metal bars, with hard plastic handles, so that they will last through multiple uses. Altogether, the chair measures 21 3/4" wide by 35 1/2" high without the pedestal by 23 1/2" deep.

A complex combination of elements is woven into our new fabric profile, and its name is Ultrafabrics® Brisa®. This fabric is supple, breathable, and more luxurious than our Suprima® Leather by a wide margin, in addition to being more durable with a higher Wyzenbeek rating. This rating is the result of many hours of friction-based testing that is applied (via machine) to the fabric. It is commonly called a "double-rub" test. This test was created to simulate the "real world" usage that the material would see over many years. This material has a current color palette that includes Birch and Coffee Bean. These colors both were hand selected because of their ability to blend into most design motifs. Instead of the loud colors that seem to permeate the landscape of furniture pieces on the market, we've chosen natural colors for you to take the worry of selection away.
