RV Rubber Window Seal - One Piece Locking Gasket

Why do you need our one-piece locking window gasket? The locking window gasket serves several purposes. The gasket securely locks the glass in place and provides a tight seal between the body panel and the glass, eliminating water leaks. It is resistant to sunlight, ozone, and water and will last you for years to come. It is also resistant to low and high temperatures with a temperature range of -30°° to +158°°.

Our one-piece locking window gasket is made of a dense EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) rubber material with a Durometer hardness of 70. This is a synthetic rubber material that boasts extreme durability and flexibility, which is why it is used in a wide range of applications. This locking window gasket has an impressive tensile strength of 1450 PSI and an elongation of 200. This means that this rubber gasket can move, flex, and stretch quite a bit when installing.

Installing our one-piece locking window gasket is super simple, especially with the help of our all-purpose RV blue stick. First, find out the length of the gasket you will need by measuring the height and width of your glass, then multiplying by 2. You may use silicone-based lubricants or soap and water during installation. Insert the bottom of the gasket along the edge of your window, ensuring that it is firmly in place.

Once your gasket is installed, you will be ready to install the glass. From the outside of the window, insert the glass from the bottom up. Next, you will want to gently work the lip of the gasket over the edge of the glass, which can be made easier with our all-purpose RV blue stick. Once the lip of the gasket has been worked over the glass, the glass will pop into place. The last step is to lock the gasket in place, which can easily be done with our RV blue stick.
