Description
There are many pieces and parts on an RV that aren't fun or attractive, but are rather functional and necessary. This list includes sealant. Self-leveling sealant, to be specific, is an important part of roofing and other flat surfaces such as roofs. To complete your project, having the right tools with you is vital. For self-leveling sealant, you're in the right place.
This RV self-leveling sealant dries in the color gray and comes in tubes of 11 oz. It has a shelf life of one year (we do not store them for years on end in our warehouse, we order them fresh so that you can get the longest life out of them). The raw material base is butyl rubber and the viscosity is 80,000-200,000 Centipoise. One gallon of this material will cover about 380 linear ft. This is commonly used on rubber, metal, fiberglass roofs and horizontal surfaces. It has an operational temperature range of -65 to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. It is weather resistant to snow, ice, sunlight, rain, and cold and is resistant to chemicals, greases and oils, salt and fuel. If you're not as much of a fan of the gray color, this can be painted. Just try and wait about 48 hours of curing time first. Once cured, it withstands shock ,vibration, and outdoor transportation stress.
With a good sealant, such as this gray self leveling sealant, your roof can last for years. Have any questions? Contact us online or call our friendly Customer Care team today!
