Made from durable materials to ward off evil, our baggage doors will stand the test of time and travel (and maybe even time travel). Take a look at this 12" x 16" door for example. Boasting energy efficiency at every curve, the rounded corners have a slender profile and are intentionally designed to push water and air away from the seal. The smooth fiberglass door is surrounded by a white aluminum frame for a lightweight design that is easy on the eyes and blends with any décor. Like all of our baggage doors, this hatch is made from a 3/4" core sandwiched between a polypropylene inner and the fiberglass outer for strength and rigidity. The added C-channel for the edge keeps the layers working together and free from moisture and dirt.

Unlike the overhead bin in an airplane, this hatch needs to remain closed while in transit. The keyed lock will do just that and provide additional security when parked. Holding the door snugly in place in conjunction with that latch is a rubber gasket. This combination creates a tight seal and reduces vibration and road noise, making this a complete package.
