Description
Using an RV battery while camping is a common thing. The battery helps to power lights, appliances, and more, allowing you to have greater control over your electrical system and allowing you to keep your electrical appliances working even when boondocking. But what if you don't want to use your battery power? Without the right piece in place, you could find yourself using the battery without knowing it. To solve this problem, you can use a battery switch. The basic function of an RV battery switch is to control the battery power draw. This model measures 2 7/8" by 2 7/8" by 3" and is a manual operation model. It is ignition protected and durable. It has heavy duty studs and nuts, with the stud size as 3/8". It can be flush mounted or recess mounted and has removable back and side panels for cable and link access. To operate this model, rotate the knob counterclockwise to the off position to cut the electric current. Press the knob and rotate it clockwise to the on position to connect the electric current. Make sure that you always stop the engine before switching the unit to the off position and never turn off the switch when the engine is running.
