Description
If you want to go camping in your RV during winter, you better prepare your RV. Otherwise, you will find yourself feeling cold and miserable, and if your RV is not ready for cold winter weather, it may result in damage. Let RecPro.com help you prepare your RV for cold winter camping with our century chemical transfer fluid concentrate.
Our Century chemical transfer fluid is what is known as a heat transfer fluid (HTF). What is a heat transfer fluid, you may be asking? An HTF is a special type of fluid used in RV floor heating systems. It is also ideal for solar, hydronic, and HVAC systems. Heat transfer fluid does exactly what its name implies - it transfers heat. Transfer fluid will provide protection against freezing and is stable over a vast range of different temperatures. With quality transfer fluid, you can keep your RV floor warm and your pipes protected from freezing during winter camping.
Our Century transfer fluid is low viscosity with a propylene glycol base. Appearance-wise this transfer fluid has a vibrant lime green color. The GRAS ingredients (Generally Recognized As Safe) give this fluid low toxicity, making it safe to handle and easy to dispose of. This is a non-corrosive fluid with a Ph balance measuring between 8 and 10. This is an important quality to have in the fluid you put in your RVs heating system.
Our century transfer fluid possesses many important properties to have in an HTF. It has a high boiling point with excellent thermal conductivity for heat transfer, making it all the more efficient at keeping your RV warm and cozy. Its high specific heat allows it to store a large amount of thermal energy without large temperature changes. This transfer fluid has an extremely low freezing point of -100℉/-73℃, staying fluid even at -34℉/-36℃.
