The Flush Mount is plugged into the floor* for an almost seamless floor transition and the Surface Mount sits on the surface. Both bases offer scratch resistance and a slender profile for optimum movement when used with most styles of RV slide-outs. The overall dimension of the mounting bracket is 6 1/2" in diameter and there is a solid backer located on the center of the counter for quick installation. The leg is 2" in diameter.
