Description
When we go camping, we're often wanting to get away from the stress of daily life and appreciate the slow nature of the world around us. And we can often do that. The issue comes when that slow world really wants to get to know us. From mosquitoes at the campfire to bugs getting into your RV to mice trying to chew through your lines, nature can get a little aggressive sometimes. One place we often forget about, though, is our RV water heater ventilation system. The slots on the water heater door are there to let air pass through to keep the water heater at a stable temperature. But if bugs, animals, dirt, or other elements get in there, they can cause problems that you then have to go and fix. To prevent such a situation from occurring, there is a very simple and straightforward solution. An RV water heater vent screen.
A water heater vent screen is installed on the outside of the water heater door, covering the vent slots. This screen allows air to move through it while keeping out the bugs, animals, dirt, and other elements that might want to get into the ventilation system. This vent screen measures 4 1/2" by 4 1/2" by 1 1/4" and comes in a pack of 1, including the installation tool and spring connectors. It is made of steel for high durability and a long life. To install it, connect one end of the spring connector to the vent screen and use the installation tool to push the other side of the spring connector through the slots on the water heater door.
Don't let your vacation be sidetracked by a pesky situation with your water heater and a few bugs. Prevent it with an RV water heater screen, a simple and easy solution to this potential problem. Have any questions? Contact us online or call our friendly Customer Care team today!
