The Sunbrella canvas is incredibly tough, offering a 45000 Wyzenbeek abrasion resistance rating as well as outstanding resistance to mold/mildew, UV light, staining, harsh weather, and even cold-cracking in temperatures as low as -20℉.

The Sunbrella canvas is designed to protect you from glaring sunlight while out on the water, and is even recommended by the Skin Cancer Foundation as part of a complete strategy for sun protection, as it significantly reduces your exposure to harsh UV light while you're out on the water. The canvas also features built-in grommets and 66 feet of ⅛” external braided rope, and is remarkably easy to clean.
