This ½” by ½” coupling is designed to join two lengths of PEX tubing together, providing a reliable and leak-free connection between tubing sections. Installing this brass coupling is easy to do as well. Simply measure and cut the PEX tubing, slide a copper ring or a PEX clamp over the end of the tubing, and insert the brass coupling fitting until it is ⅛” to ¼” from the end of the tube. Then all you need to do is use a crimping tool to crimp the copper ring or PEX clamp over the coupling fitting!
