These kinds of blinds are closer to the classic sort of blinds that many people choose to put in their bedrooms at home. Hanging from a wall or ceiling-mounted bracket, you can choose whether to roll down the day or night shade, depending on your exact intentions. For example, you can easily use the day shade to block out the worst of the sun's ultraviolet rays and heat, whereas the night shade is better for obscuring the view of passers-by.
We produce a wide variety of roller shades, including ready-made options and custom-fitting versions. Whether you want to go for a more generic approach or you would rather have shades that fit your RV precisely, we have just the model for your needs. In particular, our custom-designed model satisfies the following criteria below.
A range of heights and widths to fit the exact measurements of each and every one of your RV’s windows.
You want a set of shades in a color that matches the existing decor within your RV, and that's why we offer a range of styles to suit your vehicle's interior. You can select just the right color for your daytime and nighttime needs.
Maintenance of your roller shades is pretty simple, and the dials on either side can be used to tighten the rolls as well as allowing you to raise and lower them.
If you have any questions about customizing roller shades to match your RV, all you have to do is pick up the phone and have a word with one of our experts.
Day and night blinds are also available in a pleated format. As you would expect from such dual-purpose shades, there are two kinds of materials used to provide both functions. Whereas the day shade is a translucent type that is designed to filter the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays, the night shade is completely opaque and thus perfect for maintaining your privacy at nighttime. Obviously, you can also shut yourself away from prying eyes during the day, not to mention enjoying a cool moment out of the way of the beating sun.
Pleated shades come in a range of sizes to fit all kinds of RV windows, so you’ll be all set whether you're driving a class C motorhome or something rather larger. We have available a number of sizes from 14”W x 24”H all the way to 50”W x 38”H and everything in between.
There are several colors available, each suiting their purpose admirably. For example, the day component of these shades is sheer or white cotton to make sure natural sunlight is allowed into your RV without dazzling the occupants. In contrast, opaque sand stitchbond is used to ensure your privacy.
Our series of pleated shades have been designed to reduce the cost of running an RV as well as to protect you from the sun and to guarantee your privacy. The special design used allows the internal ambient temperature to remain constantly pleasant, and the insulating qualities of your shades will reduce your reliance of air conditioning and heating.
Easy Installation for All Shades
At RecPro, we pride ourselves not only on providing the highest quality shades, but also those which are incredibly simple to install. Whether you’re ordering roller shades or pleated shades, you will find that each set comes with specific instructions. For example, take a look at the step-by-step guide below and see how easy it is to set up your new pleated shades.
You will start out by deciding the height at which to screw in your top mounting brackets. Naturally, this will depend on the size of your windows and how much coverage you want.
As soon as you've attached the top mounting brackets in the correct place, you can hook the front lip to the top rail of your shades. Then, all you have to do is twist them back to lock them into place. At this point, the top rail should no longer be able to move.
Next, you need to decide the extent to which you would like your shades to fall when fully closed. Screw in the roller tubes here, and then make sure that the strings are tight enough for the shades to function properly.
Now your shades are fully installed, but if you still have any queries at all, you can either take a look at our instructional videos on YouTube, or ask one of our experts for their advice.

RV Curtains
The way you cover your windows says a lot about you and your RV. The style and quality matter for aesthetics and the ability to keep light (and the eyes of passersby) out of your personal space. Make sure that you've outfitted your rig with the proper RV curtain so your recreational vehicle will be stylish, and safe.
