The EcoFlow Off-Grid Power Kit is sure to revolutionize your off-grid power setup. Each component is stuffed full of advanced power technology and incredibly convenient features, such as the auto-heating function and advanced battery management system of the three included batteries, or the customizability and real-time data display of the PowerInsight monitor. Designed for maximum efficiency and convenience, you can even control the whole system wirelessly using the EcoFlow app.
The main components of this power kit are the Gen 2 5kVA EcoFlow Power Hub, the EcoFlow 30A/50A Distribution Panel, the PowerLink module, the PowerInsight touchscreen monitor, and the three 5kWh LFP EcoFlow Expansion Batteries. Each component has a ton of unique features, which are discussed in further detail below.
Gen 2 EcoFlow Power Hub
The second-generation EcoFlow 5kVA Power Hub is the beating heart of this off-grid power kit, acting as the central power intake and distribution point for the system. The EcoFlow PowerHub is designed for performance and versatility, offering a reliable high-powered 5kVA output to run your essential appliances and tackle heavy-duty electrical loads with ease. That’s enough power to run two 13500 BTU rooftop air conditioner units at the same time.
This Off-Grid Power Kit comes with 3 stackable EcoFlow 5kWh Expansion Batteries, but this power hub is capable of handling a grand total of 9 if you wish to purchase additional batteries, which would give you a massive 45kWh energy storage. That’s enough power to keep you going for up to 7 days!
The power hub is great at keeping those batteries charged as well, as it features 4 charging methods: Solar, Vehicle Alternator, Shore Power, and Generator. Each of these charging methods can fully charge a single 5kWh battery in under two hours. However, you can use multiple charging methods simultaneously, which can fully charge up to 11kWh in just one hour when using all four charging methods.
It features a variety of ports that allow you to connect various modules and peripherals. These ports include three PV In / ALT In ports for connecting solar panels or a smart alternator, three battery ports for your batteries or a smart generator, an AC input port, a 20A Max AC output port, two EF BUS ports, a 12v/24v DC main output port, and a main AC output port.
The EcoFlow 5kVA Power Hub is built with X-Fusion technology, which protects your appliances and provides reliable electricity even when connected to weak or unstable shore power. It is also remarkably quiet, with noise levels as low as 48dB at 60% inverter load. For comparison, that’s less noise than a quiet office.

EcoFlow Distribution Panel
The EcoFlow 30A/50A Distribution Panel helps to simplify and streamline your power management, as it is able to accommodate both AC and DC power, with an output of up to 240V when connected to a 50A power source. For AC power, the distribution panel can be wired for just single-phase 120V AC loads, or it can be wired for both single-phase 120V AC and split-phase 240V AC. For DC power, the distribution panel can support both 12V DC and 24V DC outputs.
The distribution panel features 12 AC branch circuits as well as 16 controllable DC circuits and distributes power from the Power Hub. It communicates with the Power Hub via an EF BUS port, allowing you to use the monitor console or the EcoFlow app to remotely control the main AC and DC outputs as well as the 16 DC circuits. Additionally, the EcoFlow Distribution Panel offers simple installation thanks to the color-coded AC and DC input connections and the AC/DC circuit wire snaps.
EcoFlow PowerLink
The EcoFlow PowerLink is like the information highway of the power system, connecting the Power Hub, Distribution Panels, sensors, and relays of the system to the PowerInsight monitor console. The PowerLink integrates and sends data to and from the monitor console and the various modules of the power system, allowing you to monitor additional information such as voltage type, resistance type, and 4-wire RTD temperature sensors.
Power Link is your ultimate RV information hub. It is designed to monitor water tanks and temperature sensors and establish communication with products/systems using communication protocols like RV-C and NMEA2000. It offers real-time data, auto generator startup, and centralized control for your vehicle's information, all viewable through PowerInsight.
EcoFlow PowerInsight
If the PowerHub is the beating heart of this off-grid power kit, then the EcoFlow Power Insight would be the brain. This device is a 10” ten-point multi-touch LCD screen with a resolution of 1280x800, offering crystal clear visuals and effortless control. The EcoFlow PowerInsight is the all-in-one information dashboard for the power system, allowing you to track and view your energy data with ease in real time or by day, month, or year.
The homepage of the monitor can show you general information at a glance, such as your total energy consumption, battery levels, and the temperature and humidity via the built-in temperature and humidity sensor. But the PowerInsight also features a ton of widgets that allow you to view detailed information about your power system. With it, you can easily view things such as your battery's charge and discharge kWh and its estimated remaining charge time, your solar power generation, and much more.

The EcoFlow PowerInsight does a lot more than just show you information; it also gives you an incredible level of control, allowing you to customize settings such as battery storage, charging limits, and even device run times. You can even directly turn individual AC or DC ports and circuits on or off with just a tap on the screen. The EcoFlow PowerInsight is an intelligent device that will help you optimize your energy use and save on costs in a variety of ways, such as by smartly leveraging battery/solar power, grid feeding, battery timing, and device usage alerts.
The EcoFlow PowerInsight is also compatible with a variety of other EcoFlow and third-party Matter-supported smart devices and appliances, such as smart plugs, smart thermostats, smart lights, and more. This allows you to connect such devices to the monitor panel through 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, giving you the ability to control lights, adjust thermostat settings, turn appliances on or off, and even more. However, smart plugs and other such devices are not included with this kit and must be purchased separately.
5kWh Expansion Battery
The EcoFlow Off-Grid Power Kit comes with three EcoFlow 5kWh Expansion Batteries, giving you a total of 15kWh. Each battery is stackable, allowing them to be placed on top of each other to help you save on space. These are Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, also known as LFP or LiFePO4 batteries. However, these are far from your standard batteries, as they are designed with a handful of great features.
For starters, each battery has a built-in Advanced Battery Management System and Advanced Battery Safety Protections, which offer protection against over-discharge, over-charge, overload, overcurrent, and short circuits. These batteries also feature an auto-heating function that warms them up when temperatures are low, making them perfect for frigid environments.
Lastly, each battery has an integrated on/off button and LCD digital display, with indicators for low and high temperatures, heating status, charging status, and battery level. Each of these EcoFlow 5kWh Expansion Batteries offers a nominal capacity of 5120Wh (100Ah) and a nominal voltage of 51.2V with a large 3500 cycle life.
